Although commonly referred to as "Teflon Spools", MV Spools are made from acetal resin (POM), also known as Delrin. Ideal material for use in sport fishing thanks to its great resistance to UV rays, saltpeter and excellent dimensional stability that provides good resistance to impacts and traction.
At MV Spools we are pioneers in having developed self-lubricating material, where we add a PTFE-based lubricant to the material at the time of casting. Thus achieving a notable improvement in each cast.
